Aga Muhlach suddenly left the country, Aug 11, a day before his birth anniversary. But TV5, Aga's new home studio, didn't want him to leave without a party so he was feted with a send off party at the borough at the Podium Mall Wednesday night, on the eve of his departure.

So where did Aga go? Everyone is now wondering where the Kapatid Star went. But TV5 will make the guessing a lot more of fun and exciting with teh launch of the "Nasaan si Aga?" text and twitter promo which started Aug. 11 and will end on Sept1.

The challenge lies in guessing where Aga went via clues that will gradually be revealed in newspaper print ads and through teh promos official website www.nasansiaga.com

Ashton Kutcher has joined Hugh Laurie as the highest paid actor on TV in America, according to a new magazine study. Both stars will earn $700,000 per episode  for " Two and Half Men" and "House", respectively when the two high-rated show return to TV Next month, but Kutcher also reportedly has a deal in place, where he'll profit further if his sitcom is a hit.

Meryll Soriano files annullment

After four years, actress Meryll Soriano finally puts a legal end to her civil marriage with actor bernard palanca. According to PEP's Aug. 5 report, Willie Revillame's daughter filed a petition for annulment of their marriage in branch 225 of regional Trila court of the quezon City Municipal Hall, under the case number Q-11-69478, with judge Maria Elisa Sempio Diy, who now acts as presiding authority over the case.

The couple actually separated in 2007, some five months after they were married on Sept. 8, 2006 at the San Juan municipal Hall s officiated by San Juan Manyor JV Ejercito, a friend of Palancas.

The relationship bore Elijah, their three year old son who is turning four this month. More than a year after her separation with Palanca, the actree got into a relationship[ with another actor Koem Bascon.

Two Filipino- Americans proved to be teen favorites at the recent Teen Choice Awards. Singers Bruno Mars and Darren Cris, who both visited the country recently, took home life-size surfboards as awards from 2011 TCA held in Los Angeles, California.

Teens voted Bruno Mars as favorite music breakout artist. The Billionaire hit maker hit the stage as twice as he also received the summer Music star awards, as reported by balitang america. tv.

Darren, "Glee's" Blaine meanwhile, was proclaimed breakout television star for his role in the hit musical series. Boxing icon Manny " Pacman" Pacquiao was also nominated in TCA's choice male Athlete Category along with mixed martial artist (MMA) Jon Jones, NBA star Dirk Nowitzki, baseball player Albert Pujols, and snowborder Shaun White. White won the category.

Mall Showcases Songs of Pride

Festival Supermall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City welcomes OPM song lovers as its sets the stage for Noel Cabangon's "Panaginip Tour" and hosts the choral competition "Awitin kay Gleeng" on Aug. 20 and 21, respectively.

Cabangon will sing Filipino love songs at the 2nd level Carousel Court on Aug. 20, from 2pm onwards, with special guest Nicole and Carlo band.

On the other hand, " Awiting kay Gleeng" invites amateur vocal groups from schools or Barangays of south luzon and nearby Metro manila on Aug. 21 Sunday 2pm in the same venue. Participating groups of 8-12 members are to include  in their line up a medley or mash up containing at least three OPM songs in Filipino or any local dislect, from any era and genre.

Judging will be based on voice will be based on voice quality, relevance to the theme, creativity, relevance to the theme, creativity and uniqueness , choreography, costume, and audience impact. The Grand champion will bag P 20,000, a trophy and an additional P 5,000 for their school or barangay.

Dulce fulfills a dream

She has longed for a long time to go back to the concert stage and do what she does best - sing to her heart's content. Dulce is fulfilling that dream on Aug. 27 at the Music Museum where "LA Dulce Diva".

Producer Jo Arboleda made the concert possible. "Our visions aligned and it was so wonderful. I wanted a show that is going to be different from what we  wee nowadays, a show that will truly be my own," said dulce.

Kimbap: A Korean Sushi

I am not a fan of Korean dish but I find this arrangement of kimbap cute and artsy. Koreans and japanese are creative on food decorations. I don’t like eating raw foods but this kimbap taste good. Maybe I should appreciate this one..  abashta :p 

PS: Tina Camua (my fzz friend) bought this one cause she haven’t eaten her lunch..so here it is. She just shared it with me (a girl who doesn’t even know how to use a chopstick.. blah! haha…)

Yeng Constantino puts her career into full throttle with a number of major moves this year.

First up is a major solo concert entitled "Rak en Rol Jamming with Yeng Constantino" at Aliw theater on Aug. 5 with guests "MU Live" co-host Tutti Caringal, Gloc 9, the producer of her " lapit" album and one of Yeng's musical aspirations Raimund Marasigan and a good friend, the country's Rockoustic Hearthrob Sam Milby.

Yeng proudly admits that she has been devoting a lot of hours and hands on work for the production and concert preparations. A new live album entitled "Yeng Versions Live" is also underway from Star Records. Shot and filmed in Teatrino Grenhills, the album out late this month will feature Yeng's take on songs by her idols - eraserheads, Apo hiking society, Florante, Blue Jeans and Yano.
