The body of Starstruck batch 3 winner Marky Cielo will be finally laid to rest today,Dec.15. His burial comes even before the real cause of his untimely demise (at age 20) is revealed.
Marky's body was brought to his hometown in Sinto,Bauko, Mountain Province where he grew up. Prior to that,Marky's family brought him at the Cathedral of Resurrection inBaguio City where his friends were able to pay last respects.
Robin Padilla, who was able to bond with Marky via "Asian Treasures" and the movie "Till I met You," went to Mountain Province just to be with the former Starstruck male sole winner.
Marky was the first and only Igorot to win the Starstruck title. As part of his family's tradition, his body will be buried within premises of their property.
Marky, who is Mark Angelo Cadaweng Cielo, died at dawn last Dec.7. He was a regular of the Sunday noontime show "SOP" and starred in shows like "La Lola," "Asero","Zaido" and "Boys Next Door."
