MIME

Before the propagation of dumb televisions shoes, there was the art of miming. Not to be cofused with the silent movies, this art is mostly associated with the silent figure with chalk white faces and stunning choreography. Although, some may consider this art barely surviving, you guys might want to take a second look. Nowadays, the art of miming has been resurrected and they are striking back with vengeance ( a lot of things to offer). In the urban setting, the art of miming has become so popular that it has become almost an entertainment staple in our malls and leisure parks.

Oppose to the usual mimes that came before them who performed in the street dressed in black with their faces painted white today's mime come in every possible color that you can imagine. they can be as blue as the ocean or even golden as sun.

miming may seem like an easy trade, but it's not for the faint-hearted. It takes guts for mimes to come up on stage an act pretty much foolishly in silence. Whoever said the silent comedians of the Renaissance period were left to rot with the forgotten Renaissance art? The art of miming has been given a killer make over, smoothing its transition from renaissance to the modern world. they come slow and unnoticed that is, until today, because in the Philippines terrain, mimes are rarely ovelooked.

Mimes are more commonly known as poeple stuck in a box, except that they're not. They've been in and out of the box both literally and figura tively. They may seem like in a silent motion picture in live action, frolicking in the city till God knows what. But even so, true to their miming origins, in this very interview they were as soundless as a mouse, giving me the good old silent treatment. It makes you think that maybe you are the one unnoticed. is that cold ahoulder or what? i think not. be cause in this ancient art, the silent treatment is part of the job description.
