Xian Lim was accused for refusing to promote Albay province

Feb 19. The facebook post of ALBAY GOVERNOR JOEY SALCEDA was trending in social media about XIAN LIM's attendance in Fiesta Tsinoy Albay. The Governor also stated there that the actor, Xian Lim refused to promote the province Albay by not accepting Albay's Tourism items such as T-shirts, brochures and coffee table book. 

 

In Xian Lim's Response: 

According to Xian, He refused to wear T-Shirt and accept other Albay promotional items  which was given to him because his thinking that he'll have problems with his current brand endorsements if he accepted it.

My Personal Review: 

This is another worth watching drama aired in the Philippines. It is really funny how people react on its Facebook page. The airtime in ABS-CBN is really confusing but my mom and I still manages to watch. As I observed, I already followed 3 consecutive dramas in their Asian dramas show since Gumiho days. hahaha! See how a bum life does?

This Drama has a most exciting and irritating story lines. (like All About Eve). I’m used to Korean Dramas so it was kind of different because  its Taiwanese Approach but nevertheless it made me hook (especially my Mom).The actors / actresses have matured role so the candy-coated lovie-doves tweetums role is not existing in the drama. The main target audience most probably the housewives staying at home .

Xian Lim falling in love with Kim Chiu

As part of the primetime series My Binondo Girl, Xian Lim plays the role of Andy Wu, the equally charming brother of Trevor Lu, played by Matteo Guidicelli. Both siblings are both equally intrigued and attracted to Yuan Sy who is actually Kim Chiu pretending to be her deceased brother. “It’s a different role. It’s the same role na responsible guy but there’s a certain something to it. Siyempre the pressure is on because it’s my biggest break,” he said.

The 22-year-old model turned actor admitted that working with the cast of My Binondo Girl has been nothing but enjoyable so far. Xian even singled out Kim as one of the sweetest girls he has ever met. “I love working with them, lalo na si Kim she’s really sweet. She’s a really sweet girl like I’ve never seen anyone sweeter than her. When I see a sweet girl, I’m reminded of Kim. She’s the definition of sweet. Her strongest quality is that she’s a really sweet girl. Hindi ko makita yung side niya na yung napipikon. Hindi ko pa nakikita yung side na ganun. She’s always smiling. Parang very magaan kasama. I guess that’s yun lang yung secret doon eh. If magaan kasama yung tao na your with, then it’s nice to be around them,” he told Push.com.ph.
