The TV host's version was titled “New York City Marathon and Connecticut (Most memorable trip of my life),” while the food blogger's version was called “Going Around New York City and Connecticut (Best Trip Ever).”

ANNE CURTIS excited for No other woman

After doing the romantic comedy Who’s That Girlearlier this year, Anne Curtis returns to the big screen in her most mature role to date as the other woman in the Star Cinema and Viva Films drama No Other Woman. The 26-year-old actress plays the role of Kara Zalderiaga, a beautiful and carefree socialite who is emotionally detached from love. “I play the role of Kara and siya yung other woman. It’s something na hindi pa nila ako nakikitang nag-portray, kasi lagi na lang comedy or rom-com so it’s a breath of fresh air for me so sana magustuhan ninyo yung character ko dito,” Anne shared during the No Other Woman press con held last September 21 at the Dolphy Theater inside ABS-CBN.

Anne said that when she first got offered the role, she had no hesitations whatsoever about playing the anti-heroine in the story for a change. “Kasi I think I’ve always been very open na gusto ko talaga to do something different. Kasi 14 years na ako sa industriyang ito, parang lahat na yata nagawa ko. So ito ang hindi ko pa talaga nagagawa. So I was so excited, from wearing the swimsuits to different outfits to my hair, prinepare ko talaga. At kitang-kita niyo naman yun samovie. I think people don’t realize that I’m turning 27 next year. They don’t see it kasi napaka-bubbly ko ‘di ba?So people don’t realize that as an actress it’s also my frustration to get roles that help me mature as an actress and I feel that this could be it,” she explained.

Anne admitted that she wants to follow in the footsteps of Hollywood actress Natalie Portman. “Idol ko si Natalie Portman. Ano ba mga tinatanggap na roles ni Natalie Portman ngayon ‘di ba? Yung role niya sa Closer youcould see that she really tackles mature roles na hindi mo iisipin kung bagay ba sa kanya yun? Pero ginawa niya at na-achieve. Black Swan also was super duper more mature pero I want that. I want to move forward as an actress,” she said.

Anne Curtis releases album titled Anne-Bisyosa

Actress Anne Curtis is now a recording actress with the release of her new album.

It’s titled “Anne-Bisyosa” and is under Viva Records. It features three duets with Pop princess Sarah Geronimo of the songs “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” “Alone,” and “Too Many Walls.” Anne also has a duet with rapper Andrew E in the said album. As of posting time, Anne Bisyosa is a trending topic on Twitter.

Anne Curtis happy with Erwann heusaff

Anne Curtis said that non-showbiz boyfriend Erwann Heussaff knows about her love scene with Derek Ramsay in the upcoming film, No Other Woman. “Hindi naman [siya nagseselos]. He knows the story and everything. He knows how excited I am to shoot it and how excited I am kasi I play a different role.” The film, which also stars Cristine Reyes is an mature-themed movie from Star Cinema and is scheduled to hit theaters by the end of September.

When the Fil-Australian was asked if Erwann was going to be her date for the premiere, she replied, “I don’t know. Kung pwede, bakit hindi?”

Anne explained that Erwann has an interest in her work and would ask about shooting for her upcoming movie. “He is always curious like when will it start showing, tapos he asks if I’m about to do a heavy scene,” related Anne. “Kinakamusta niya ko. How was it, sinasabi ko sa kanya if I feel maybe if I should have given more. He’s very supportive. I think that’s the good thing. If you’re from different industries he’s also curious about it.”

Anne also added that it is an advantage that she and her boyfriend are not from the same industry. “Kasi they’re both totally different worlds. Parang he likes to know about it and then he’s curious about it.” She continued that their relationship is more stable because they have different career paths. “Oo, that’s a very, very big factor andparang my friends have been saying [that] this is the quietest relationship I’ve ever been [in]. It’s a good thing,” she beamed.

Angelica Panganiban won't be jealous

Derek Ramsay said that he is very proud of his movie with Anne Curtis and Cristine Reyes, No Other Woman, because he really pushed his acting skill to the limit. Apart from the heavy dramatic scenes, Derek also confirmed that he has a butt exposure and bed scenes with his two leading ladies. However, he pointed out that more than showing more skin and intense love scenes, he is very proud about the film’s story.
