SENATOR BENIGNO C. AQUINO III " It's his turn"

His staff has been getting e-mails from people who are egging him to run, run, run!
Away from the virtual frontier and back on planet Earth, some people are already volunteering to collect a million signatures, two million if needed, if that's the only thing that could convince him to seek the presidency of this country.
Add to that a nosy media that insist on finding more interesting tidbits about his newly-revealed lovelife.
Indeed these days, Senator Benigno C. Aquino III, or Noynoy to all , is finding himself in a whirlwind of interesting events, both on the personal and professional fronts. But the 49-year old solon, the third child and only son of modern day heroes Ninoy and Cory Aquino, just takes everything in stride-as usual.
It is understandable that Noynoy, for now, seems reluctant to face what others deem as his destiny. After all, he just buried his mother, and is just in the process of re-arranging his life, starting with the total renovation of the historic house on Times St.
One August morning, the Philippines woke up to a Cory-less world. If it was difficult on the Filipino people missing that beloved President who was an instrument in giving back democracy to this race, it is much harder on the man who vowed to protect his mother all the days of his life. But Noynoy and his four sisters have vowed to move on, but not the least bit forget.
Noynoy, candidly bares his heart, bringing us back to the days when, at 13 years old , he promised his dad to take care of his mom and sisters, from the time in Boston when he found out of Ninoy's assasination, to the most painful moment when he learned that his mom has passed on to the poignant post-funeral moments when he comforts himself with the thought that his mother may be gone but is deservedly in her rightful place in heaven.
