Roy Eebr hardt is the new kid in town, and life isn't easy. Struggling to keep up with the new changes in his llife, he meets a homeless brother and sister, who thrust him into an ecological mystery. Breaking a few rules in the process, roy takes uptheir cause of saving teh burrowing owls about to be evicted by a new pancake house. Hiassen once again works his magic and makes this one hoot to read.
