Sam Pinto's beauty secrets
Tila walang hirap na napanatili ni Sam Pinto ang kanyang kagandahan kahit na magdamagan ang shooting niya para sa pelikulang Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote, na entry para sa nalalapit na Metro Manila Film Festival.
Biro ni Sam, hindi naman siya tinutubuan ng pimples kaya okay lang sa kanya ang nakakapagod na taping. Ayon kay Sam, tulog lang daw ang katapat ng pimples. "Kasi kung puyat lagi, yun ang nagko-cause ng pimples, e. So for me, sleep lang talaga."
Dapat din daw gumamit ng sunblock. "Kasi skin is very sensitive sa sun. So yun lang." Inirekomenda rin ni Sam ang paggamit ng toner. "Kasi, minsan, hindi pantay yung color ng skin. Yung toner, nagpapantay ng color ng skin. Brand? Actually, any toner will do really."

Shamcey Supsup: Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner up!
MANILA, Philippines - Malacañang today cited Shamcey Supsup for finishing the 2011 Miss Universe Pageant at fourth place.
"The Aquino Administration congratulates Ms. Shamcey Supsup for her 3rd runner-up finish in the 2011 Miss Universe Pageant," Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said after the winners of the most-watched beauty pageant were announced before noon today.
"The humility, intellect, and grace that you exhibited during the competition embodied the spirit of the true Filipina; and, in our eyes, that is the true victory today—that the world stood witness to and found an appreciation for the ideals, values, and beauty that has long characterized our nation," Lacierda, who stood as judge in the 2011 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
Supsup finished as 3rd runner-up in the 2011 Miss Universe Pageant, which was won by Angola's Leila Lopes.
"May this triumph serve as a way for other nations to come to appreciate not just the beauty of our people, but that of our country. On behalf of the Filipino people, we are proud of you; and we see even greater things ahead for you," Lacierda added.
