As it is common among music fans and critics to celebrate previous eras while downplaying the efforts efforts of those in the current set-up, active rock leaders challenged everyone to be easy on the present crop of artists.
The new ones deserve the same degree of respect, they said.
During the Tanduay Rhum Rockfest Year 5 launch, Rico Blanco, who sings the vent's theme "Ngayon", pointed out "We should celebrate look forward to the future and celebrate yun ngayon. Okay din naman yung before pero mas maganda ang quality ng recoording ngayon. The Kind of musical Diversity we have only shows how Heal;thy the scene is."
