Yul Servo compelling performance in the film "Torotot" earned for the young councilor of Manila a Best Actor Award at the recent 35th Brussels International Film Festival in Belgium.
Yul also recieved 200 euros for having been named Best Actor.
This is not the first time Yul triumphed in Brussels; he previously shared best actor honors with Joel Torre in 2002 for his breakout film by Law Diaz "Batang West side"
Directed by Maryo J.delos Reyes, "Torotot" also stars Baron Geisler, Precious Adona and Maui Taylor and was released by Viva Films independent film arm.
