In the GMA Network original story,Luna Mystika is about the twins Luna and Celestina
played by Heart Evangelista .Luna is a kind-hearted girl born with facial marks people get shocked of. While Celestina is her "shadow twin" .Both are the result of a love affair between a woman and an ugly man suspected to be an "engkanto" or a mythical creature.
Despite the mystery that shrouds from an enchanted giant tree.The fruit made them realize their real roots.Moreover when the moon shines brightly Celestina transforms into a beautiful woman while Luna becomes the background. They return to their normal state during daytime!
