A Tuna Salad: remedy from suffering cramps

A major cause of menstrual cramps is the release of a chemical called prostagladin into the tissues causing the uterus to react by going into spasms. Beat the pain by eating foods high in Omega 3 fatty acids such as salmon, tuna, walnuts, which can inhibit the release of this cramp inducing chemical.

Tip!

Tuna goes well with fruits as well as fresh greens. Mix a scoop of tuna with chopped apples and cranberries for a salad that looks as good as it tastes.
