Lea's life on stage will be forever


Having life on stage for more than 30 years to date is such a blessing for world-renowned singer and Broadway actress Lea Salonga.
Starting as a child actress at a very young age of seven she grew up having the "best of both worlds"as they say. She debuted in the musical "The King and I" by Repertory Philippines. And at the age of 10, she started
her recording career with her first album "Small Voice."
Lea was best known in the field of musical theater in which she had performed Kim in "Miss Saigon" and Eponine in "Les Miserables." She also performed the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in "Aladdin" and Fa Mulan in "Mulan" and "Mulan II." Having played in various musical theater productions such as Sandy in "Grease", Sonia Walsk in "They're Playing Our Song," The Witch in "Into The Woods,"and Lizzie in "Baby", among others. Lea indeed has gone far in the field of singing and acting.
In the recent celebration for World Vision graduates, Lea graced the occasion to congratulate all the graduates and to surprise one of the graduates herself, World Vision Ambassador for the Youth Nikki Gil.
Lea's concert schedule starting in May. In Las Vegas May 1, Seattle May 4 Rhino on May 24 and in Los Angeles on May 30. On September and October, I'll be in the US". Lea said. It will be a very busy year hor her, so those who missed her performing should catch the above dates.
